@Based_Atheist @MayIbeWell2day @iamAtheistGirl Hold on, I'm not sure how this is a "gotcha." Islam is one of the major world religions, any child in the US could meet a practitioner of Islam, ESPECIALLY in a big city. Why would you not want your children to learn about other religions their friends might practice?

why is it so difficult for christians to leave nonbelievers alone? i believe it’s a reaction of insecurity they have doubts and they need to silence people who make them think about their doubts if they were secure in their faith and belief atheists wouldn’t bother them at all 🤷‍♀️

@_deeecain @marieeeelex48 @nnekabook After watching basic roommate situations go down in flames because of verbal agreements, i think if a relationship ends and there's kids involved and you DON'T write out custody and child support agreements then you're the idiot. That relationship is over, there's no trust left.

@marieeeelex48 @nnekabook child support is not a consequence of cheating, it’s a consequence of not supporting the child. if he was still actively doing his part then the child support was unnecessary and done out of spite.

So let’s rephrase this… They were in a relationship Assuming they lived together He cheated and she no longer wants him physically in the home Thus, he’s being held financially responsible via child support.

this girl putting her bd on child support because she caught him cheating & she mad at me because I asked why is she doing that if he’s a good dad lmao it’s really females out here that weaponize child support & y’all need to start calling their asses out 😭

@aarcadiarosee @Carina_Amyth @lizzie_albin @ask_aubry As a lefty guitar player I'm shocked people don't realize how much easier it is to teach people who can literally mirror you. I'm average, not ~incredible, but I've taught some friends basic chords and the mirror effect made it super simple for them.

@Carina_Amyth @lizzie_albin @ask_aubry yea, when i was taking bass guitar lessons in like 4th grade, they just taught me as if i was right handed, didn't even give me a lefty bass. bc i had no background on how to do it, either of my hands could learn it. i'm doing the same w learning to crochet, just doing it righty

@notabot741 @ask_aubry This was my first thought- if you stop a server on mothers day to hit on them, which already is going to be perceived as creepy, don't be surprised if she forgets to put on her nice face as she rushes past you to take care of 25 things and greet the tables she was double sat with

@RealFrozz @ask_aubry I mean speaking as a server/bartender, it's likely she wasn't OVERLY polite, but that's not a statement on her. Mother's day is one of the busiest days of the year in restaurants and she was probably super swamped. He's entitled AF to not see how that would be received.

@DothanDave @xarophti @InternetH0F I'm sorry did you forget the post you're responding to? The question asked was "how do atheists tell a good decision from a bad decision?" How else is one supposed to interpret that besides "this person thinks i cannot discern right from wrong?"

@xarophti @LMCshort @InternetH0F Nor have I ever heard any theist say such a thing. But by all means, copy and paste one quote of a theist who has said that atheists "can't tell right from wrong."

@CoinsGoUp @Kathmarval @SecurityCeleste @Momof3gngrs @ask_aubry Look, ignorance and no intention of malice doesn't mean people have to accept it or be okay with what was said. Be grown and be okay with being corrected when someone tells you that what you're saying is harmful and attempts to tell you why.

@DothanDave @InternetH0F Then why suggest atheists can't tell right from wrong? Do y'all not just... Feel bad or gross about the idea of doing bad things because it hurts people? Do you have to worry about how god would feel to feel bad about doing bad things?

Such a tired, worn out atheist straw man, that Christians "need the threat of eternal punishment to be a good person." The straw man is exactly upside down and backwards from what Christians actually believe. We Christians obey God's commandments because we love God, because he first loved us by saving us from eternal punishment. The threat does not exist.

@JerheeW @ask_aubry I appreciate this post; social media strangers have a lot of opinions on what a man should be and i don't vibe with any of them, it's heartwarming to read stories about other guys who understand their partners are people.

@ask_aubry I need a post where women give shout-outs to men who pull their own weight at home. (Not talking financially.) I keep seeing almost every man I’ve ever known in these threads. They walk into the house, put on blinders, and ignore the work involved in maintaining a house.🤬

@TheJeadpool @Provokethoughtz Perception is everything. When two people call themselves christian and is a bigot, it makes the other look bad. Instead of letting them be bigots, why aren't christians more proactive about shutting this down in their communities?

@S0phie_S0pht @Paul_Ilett Hormones for women are ‘replacement’ therapy. This is different treatment than when given as wrong sex hormones to men. Blockers are used for precocious puberty - regardless of whether the child thinks they are a boy or a girl. And to be safe, if you’re a male, use the gents.

@alex_rompen @Provokethoughtz The body hair situation is a bit of a messy topic but men should have a say because for a healthy relationship they’ll also need to deal with them hair. I won’t like to burry my face in an Amazonian bush for example.

@MaryBeth_Abate @ask_aubry Honestly, she probably DOES tell him to knock it off, but he doesn't tale it seriously and thinks he's being annoyingly cute. I had an ex who would frustrate me in other ways, to the point that i was literally screaming at them to stop, and they still thought i was joking.

Woman: shares a common example of misogyny What he says: I’ve never seen that What she hears: I don’t believe you What he means at best: I don’t care What he won’t admit: he cares about keeping it that way, because if he didn’t, why would he try to convince you you’re wrong?

@drspacejunk @emrazz If you make a poll about "common examples of misogyny" you will get: - common examples of misogyny - ambiguous situations - things that are clearly not misogyny Yet you will still say "it's all misogyny". Just like to a hammer everything looks like a nail.

@KaeleyT I worked with a bloke who was always banging on about ’battered men’. I kept telling him to start a refuge for them if he was really concerned. That always made him angry, for some reason he seemed to think it was my problem to fix.

When I post about the women killed in witch trials, someone inevitably reminds me that men were killed, too. When I talk about the plight of battered wives, I’m usually scolded about neglecting to mention battered husbands. When I talk about the gender cult’s assault on vulnerable teen girls, someone will remind me that boys are harmed, too. Yes. I understand. Females do not have the monopoly on suffering or victimization. Yes, I validate the experiences of the many males who suffer. They matter, too. But I am a self-described women’s advocate. That’s my area of passion. That’s the area of my personal experience, and that’s the area where I choose to focus. If you feel led to champion these issues from another angle, by all means do it! Truth needs all kinds of advocates. I’m just more successful when I stay in my lane.
