I’m in London. Tube strike . So we walk and see. Pub service staff - Indian, Greek restaurant - Indian, shop staff mostly Indian or Balkan. Security staff Indian or African. Chauffeurs mostly - Indian. Shops Indian. Street nutters - African. A lovely town.

Yeah welcome to the financial centre of the East 😂 Taxi: No Credit Card, no Apple Pay. No Mainland Alipay. 1st ATM I found: Doesn’t take Visa Card for cash withdrawal. Finally Citi ATM gave cash to pay back hotel staff which paid the taxi. 100 HKD. 15 HKD withdrawal fee. A city full of banks and financial services- but no digital payments infrastructure. $HSI hopeless?!
