I'm perplexed by this, but I have to assume it's because people either don't understand the question or that they believe their answer will somehow affect the result. I think if you asked "If you press the blue button, a King could decide to kill you, or not. If you press the red button, a King cannot decide to kill you." you'd get a different result.
