Trump boasts the US is in firm “control” of Venezuela, his proxy better “fall into line” & other countries are at risk of invasion. This is a blatant violation of nations’ sovereignty, military aggression & political bullying. Canada must take a strong, principled position now.

New Democrats have supported flight attendants from the beginning in their pursuit of fair pay. It’s absurd they are expected to work for free. It’s time the law was changed so all time spent in service is paid.

I am gravely alarmed by the use of force by the United States against Iran today. This is a dangerous escalation in a region already on the edge – and a direct threat to international peace and security.   There is a growing risk that this conflict could rapidly get out of control – with catastrophic consequences for civilians, the region, and the world.   I call on Member States to de-escalate and to uphold their obligations under the @UN Charter and other rules of international law.   At this perilous hour, it is critical to avoid a spiral of chaos.   There is no military solution.  The only path forward is diplomacy.  The only hope is peace.

Find someone to 'attack' you the way Canada has 'attacked' the oil industry. Alberta has never produced so much oil, and the industry has never made so much profit. This repetitive talking point that Alta has grievances cuz oil was suppressed is pure fantasy. #cdnecon #cdnpoli
