i’m clearing this up once and for all. i’ve never called myself an update account, an official source or a neutral account. i’m a lando fan account, and a lando fan first. yes, i post updates, interviews and race content, but that doesn’t mean i stop being a fan or suddenly stop having opinions. i’m not a media outlet and i’ve never pretended to be one. at the end of the day, this is a competitive sport. of course i’m going to want lando to do well and of course i’m going to react to things that affect his race. if i comment on an on-track incident, it’s because i’m reacting to what happened in that moment from the perspective of a lando fan (including also relaying what’s being said on broadcast). that’s not a personal attack on another driver, and it doesn’t mean i want anyone to receive hate. people need to stop rewriting the intent behind everything i post. if i point out something that happened on track, i’m talking about the racing situation, not making a statement about a driver’s character. i’ve done the same with multiple drivers before and i’ll continue to do so if it involves my driver. yes i try not to spend my time tearing other drivers down, but i’m also not going to pretend i don’t have opinions just because i post updates. if that doesn’t match the image some people have created of my account, that’s fine the mute/block button is there and i will not take offense, but it was never an image that i created myself. not every tweet is part of some agenda. this account has always been a lando fan account, and that’s not changing.
