I can understand that and honestly I expected that too but I loved the brutal way she died bc it just pushes the point further that the Empire ( Specifically Vader ) are brutal and not everyone gets a somewhat noble death it again goes back to my point of being aligned with MAUL = Death bc he is cursed to lose everything

@ASisterOfBattle @LOST_VIZION That would be interesting but the bare minimum I was expecting was her dying by actively choosing to sacrifice her life for him. Which was still the vibe of her last moments, but for example if she made him cross the acid lake before her and then died following him

My problem with Darth Vader's appearance in Maul: Shadow Lord, to be explicit, is that I think it's unnecessary wank. We've seen characters like Ahsoka and Cere give Vader a notable challenge, to have Maul outclassed to THAT degree lessens the character's ability too much.

It's crazy how far Star Wars animation has come. Every time I think they have reached their peak, they manage to elevate their craft further. Animation and lightsaber duels are a match made in heaven. Live-action could never accomplish moments like these.
