Looks like a de-Mauled version of Saxon's armor. Probably just asset reuse, since presumably he's Viceroy by now? Although it could be interesting if he stuck with Maul for a bit but got disillusioned before getting in with the Empire

@sheevthan Hot take maybe but they should have saved Boba Fett’s survival reveal for Mando and Grogu so he could be the bounty hunter antagonist

I will criticize Embo being yanked and regressed from his NR era ethical bounty hunter team so he can be a minor villain in live action, however if they do the same to Bossk I will say nothing since that’s his best shot at appearing 🫩

@camandfilm His only clone wars oc who ages and aesthetic evolves is Ahsoka and even then she’s still hung up on the clone wars and Anakin without a clear explanation 😭

@sheevthan well when his characters all wear the exact same shit they wore sometimes decades before then we definitely have a serious problem with character progression because why does no one wear new clothes why must they be their action figures from the clone wars 😭😭

@samukagrecco Yeah I imagine to cover everything they could do 3 seasons with time jumps in between. But I’m just considering maybe they envisioned a tight miniseries that doesn’t cover all that, which would be frustrating

@sheevthan I Think that it is not possible to cover everything in 1 season. There's still the connection with Ezra and his trying to convince Ezra to be his apprentice. There, Maul is beaten, alone and obsessed. Not the crime lord we'll see in season 1.

Finale titled “finale” makes it feel like there’s not a second season 🥴 I absolutely respect making a distinct Maul story without cameos and ticking boxes but I do think it would be a little silly to again leave his crimson dawn era largely untouched
