On this day, March 11th, 1941, FDR signed the Lend-Lease Act, allowing U.S. war supplies to be loaned to Allies like Britain and the USSR, deepening American involvement in WWII before Pearl Harbor. This "arsenal of democracy" program bypassed neutrality laws, committing billions to one of the most brutal regimes in the history of the world. It shifted U.S. policy toward active support in a war that did not involve us. The Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania critiques this war escalation, advocating for neutrality to avoid entanglements. We see it as a prelude to interventionism. Let's prioritize peace over foreign aid.

In 2026, Democrats or Republicans have to win 102 seats in the Pennsylvania House to have a majority.
Libertarians only need to win one.
Currently, there are 102 Democrats and 101 Republicans seated in the General Assembly.
If a Libertarian flips a seat, the two old parties would have to make concessions with us to get anything done.
All we need is one Libertarian. If you want to be that Libertarian, reach out and we will connect you with your local affiliate!
