On this day, March 20th, 1854, the Republican Party was organized in Ripon, Wisconsin, uniting against slavery. They later evolved into the party that espoused small government, but in recent decades have shown themselves to be completely ineffective in following through on their supposed principles.
The Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania critiques GOP’s spending, contrasting with libertarian principles of limiting government. We offer an alternative to big-state policies. Let's prioritize individual liberty over party lines.

On this day, March 19th, 2003, Bush announced the Iraq invasion, based on false WMD claims, launching a war that cost trillions and thousands of lives. This preemptive strike destabilized the region. It exemplified flawed intelligence and overreach.
This propaganda to fuel false enthusiasm to go to war even today still occurs as the Trump administration pushes for war in Iran. Claims that Iran are murdering their own people circulate and houses destructive weapons. They are looking for any excuse to go to war.
The Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania critiques this war of choice, advocating for non-intervention to avoid lies and costs. We believe diplomacy prevents conflict. Let's reject preemptive wars for liberty.

Even @JoshShapiroPA said it, "The American people- through our elected representatives- decide when our nation goes to war..."
We agree.
That's why we're backing @DefendTheGuard and calling for constitutional war powers.

No. Israel Instead.

Trump: “Well, as I said before, when you have conflicts like this, you always have death."

Just FYI, this is the EXACT reason our generals have consistently advised against a war with Iran.
Even Charlie Kirk had laid this all out on his show a couple years ago.
Iran was no threat to America but they were fully capable of destroying the global economy by striking oil facilities and transit throughout the region. The fact that Trump was never told this tells you he is surrounded exclusively by his Israeli handlers.
It's crystal clear to me that he had no idea what he was getting himself into. He thought it was going to be easy because his traitorous advisors simply lied to him.
Because this war was for Israel. Period.
They didn't care how many Americans died. They didn't care if it became a massive regional war with American boots on the ground. In fact, that was always the goal.
And before you jump on me as if I'm giving Trump a pass. I'm not. He should be impeached or resign. Immediately.
There is no excuse for this level of incompetence. None.

Trump: They weren't supposed to go after all these other countries in the Middle East. So they hit Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait. Nobody expected that. We were shocked

On this day, March 16th, 1968, the My Lai Massacre saw U.S. troops kill 347-500 Vietnamese civilians, a horrific Vietnam War atrocity exposed by whistleblowers. This event shocked the world, eroding support for the war. It highlighted intervention's dark side.
The Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania critiques war atrocities, advocating for peace to prevent such horrors. We oppose foreign entanglements. Let's end interventions that cost innocent lives.

On this day, March 16th, 1751, James Madison was born, the future 4th President and "Father of the Constitution" who championed limited government through checks and balances. His Virginia Plan shaped the Constitution, emphasizing federalism. Madison's Bill of Rights protected liberties far more than would have existed in the Constitution without them.
The Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania praises his vision of limiting the powers of government, critiquing modern expansion that ignores boundaries. We advocate for constitutional fidelity. Let's honor Madison by curbing power.

@mattvanswol If we needed further proof that the Republicans only care about sucking up to the donors and not how many die in the Middle East, this is it.

@AIPAC @MassieforKY You posting this confirms Ed Gallrein has more loyalty to Israel than the USA.
English

Wow, @MassieforKY is accusing a Navy SEAL of dual loyalty.
Massie has every right to post garbage like this - just as US citizens have every right to support Ed Gallrein.
It’s not “foreign interests” that lead people to oppose Massie - his voting record does that all by itself.
Thomas Massie for Congress@MassieforKY
Wow, based on 95% of his financial support, Ed might as well change his citizenship. 🇮🇱 We only have 66 days left in this race and I’m being outspent 2 to 1 by foreign interests. If you’re America First, please support me here. secure.thomasmassie.com/donate
