The Fourth Amendment prohibits the government from spying on Americans without a warrant.
When the government pays someone to do this spying on behalf of the government, then that’s no less a violation of the Fourth Amendment.

The FBI just acknowledged that the federal government buys Americans' location data in its testimony to the Senate Select Subcommittee on Intelligence. This is a clear violation of the Fourth Amendment and is why I introduced the Government Surveillance Reform Act - to close the data broker loophole that allows intelligence agencies to buy Americans' private data.

Here in Ohio April 8th, 2020, was the last honest off-ramp for DeWine and Acton. April 10th was the last dignified one. By April 17th, denial of reality had become a choice.
The catastrophe they predicted never materialized, and they kept acting like it had. DeWine, Husted and Acton were terrified admitting they were wrong would destroy them politically, so they turned a dangerous illness for elderly and ill into a massive govt inflicted disaster for all Ohioans.
Sadly, many have chosen to forget the truly terrifying numbers predicted that were used as justification for every overreaction. Others can't bare to confront that they were fooled and abused by people they trusted.

Does anyone dispute these facts…in March of 2020 there was a nationwide panic that was based on an imperial college study that suggested that covid had a 3-4% fatality rate. Policy was crafted based on that study. By May everyone knew that those estimates were over stated by about 500x. The new information would have never caused a panic…but the ball was already rolling…what did I get wrong?

March 18, 2020: 6 years ago Mike DeWine announced that the Ohio Department of Health was ordering temporary closure of barbershops, hair salons, nail salons, and tattoo parlors, as well as Ohio's Bureau of Motor Vehicle (BMV) deputy registrar locations and BMV driver examination stations. The underlying legal mechanism was a health department order under Dr. Amy Acton’s authority.
