With tonight being my last night at Lakeland, I want to thank everyone who's made my time here so memorable. Especially Dennis Weimann - one of the best in the biz, 25 years of service in the community! Here are some of my favorite memories I've been lucky to get on camera:

Tonight is the last @LPTVSports telecast for @ChazMootzTV before he heads to the metro. He has *served* the North so well these last three years with his storytelling…but most of all, with his appreciation for people. We will miss you, my friend…thank you! #GoPackGo

Fosston is 275 miles from St. Paul. Not everyone from the town of 1,400 could make the nearly 5 hour trek to watch @FosstonBaseball win their 1st-ever state championship. So Kevin Moore & his family opened up the local theatre & let folks watch the historic win, free of charge.

Here's the moment former @BSUBeaversMHKY defenseman Zach Whitecloud (2016-18) hoisted up the Stanley Cup. Whitecloud joins Joel Otto (1980-84) as the only other former Beaver to win the Stanley Cup.

With @RapidsBaseball's 5-0 win over St. Thomas Academy today, the T-hawks advance to the Class 3A semifinal game for a 3rd straight season. Easton Sjostand threw a complete game shutout, allowing only 3 hits. More on @LakelandNewsPBS tonight, Rapids gets Mahtomedi tomorrow.

After winning five state titles so far, long-distance runner Jade Rypkema will be competing at the Class A state meet for a chance at two more. Along with her determination to succeed, she's had coach Tom Stambaugh help and support her from day one. lptv.org/neviss-jade-ry…

Nevis’ Jade Rypkema is a finalist for Ms. Minnesota T & F. Her journey has been one for the books: Picked up running in 6th grade, doesn’t have an actual track at her HS, going for 7th state title, has a lifelong bond with her distance coach. Full story: youtu.be/heFiKaXghXk

With @bemidjibaseball's 8-5 win over Elk River on Monday, Mike Fogelson earned his 255th career victory, the most all-time in BHS Baseball history. "20 years ago I didn't see this in my future, God had differently plans for me, it's a joy to get to celebrate it with these guys"

A little late on this, but on Tuesday @RapidsBaseball got a 7-3 win over Duluth Marshall. All 7 of Rapids’ runs came in the 4th inning, 6 came with 2 outs. @myles_gunderson got the W on the bump. The Thunderhawks have won 8 of their last 10 games. youtu.be/S4tyPZMxhkw

After @Isaac_hanson22’s 3-run home run in the 7th inning yesterday, @BrainerdWarrior Baseball now has 2 walk-off wins in the span of 5 days. Last Thursday Eli Owen got a walk-off double in 11 to beat Rocori 6-5. Hanson’s homer gave Brainerd a 12-9 win over Sauk Rapids-Rice.

Bemidji softball (@BHSJacksSB) picked up a 7-1 win over Greenway this afternoon, Elizabeth Oster (@Eoster10) showed out with 2 home runs. The 20 mph sustained winds with 40 mph gusts helped out just a bit. Full highlights: youtu.be/YJU1Jvs-7L8
