Last night, along that MAPOLY road (opposite the SLAB filling station), I saw a crowd gathered with about 100+ Okada parked (when you see so many Okada park at a place that is not their junction, it’s your cue that there will be chaos). I parked, walked to the policemen there, and asked what was going on. They said it was an accident, but the two people had decided to settle themselves. I urged the policemen that since it had been resolved, they should try to disperse the crowd peacefully and leave, and they did. After they left, I was walking back to my car, and some guy tugged at my cloth. “Heysss, Tani ẹ, i wan sabi you”. I ignored him and continued walking to the car. He came again, saying if I didn’t respond to him, he would slap me. About 9 other guys were begging him to leave me alone (everybody is a champion in the dark). I was there smiling. Then he dragged the car door from me as I was about to open it. Then I told him to wait, make me park. While parking, some ladies came to me and said that I should go, that the guy is notorious in the area, and he can beat anybody. That gave me ginger. I enjoy facing oppressors like that. I went to park, dropped my phone, and I returned alone to ask for the guy. At this point, I was angry, and I had called the DPO of the area to send some officers. The moment I walked back into the crowd and asked them to present the guy, their tone changed to “Alaye, ko le to yen”. Some people in the crowd had known it was me, and they probably tipped him off. 5 minutes later, police arrived. He was made to pledge that he would never disturb the students in that area again. He was humbled. The students in the area were so grateful. One more social problem solved.

If you are the man who paid for the food of three soldiers yesterday evening at the restaurant close to Tamando Navy Barracks, Apapa, this message is for you. We were three of us. After eating, we asked for the bill, which was ₦9,600, only for the waitress to tell us that someone had already paid for our food. She said you pointed at us and cleared the bill, then left before we could even see you or say thank you. To be honest, we were surprised and even a bit pained that we didn’t get the chance to appreciate you in person. We don’t know your reasons, we don’t know your story, but what you did meant a lot to us. So wherever you are, we want to say thank you. Thank you for appreciating us. Thank you for your kindness. Thank you for your support. May God bless you, may He continue to shine light on your path, and may you never lack help when you need it. From three grateful soldiers we appreciate you. 🫡🪖 May Nigeria forever be blessed 🇳🇬

We were at the Court of Appeal in Calabar today for my appeal against the Akwa Ibom State Government. I am seeking to quash and set aside my imprisonment for one month in 2022 for alleged contempt of court. I had the honour of being represented by a team of lawyers led by Femi Falana, SAN. MBA Ukweni, SAN, was also in court for me along with other members of my legal team, including James Ibor, Esq, Ime Umanah, Esq, First Baba Isa, Esq, and Augustine Asuquo, Esq and others. I am thankful to the Chairman of the Calabar Branch of the NBA, Amatey Enome, and members of the Human Rights Committee of the Branch who also appeared for me today. I’m equally grateful to other members of my defence team, including Olumide-Fusika SAN, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa SAN, Funmi Falana, SAN, Ubani Monday Onyekachi, SAN, Kunle Edun, SAN, John Aikpokpo-Martins, Philip Eseme Emmanuel, Evaristus Asuzu Ifeanyi, Seprebofa Oyeghe, Festus Ogun and others. We made significant progress in the appeal today. The appeal has been further adjourned to the 16th day of April, 2026. History will vindicate the just.

I saw my sister-in-law taking just Lipton tea and lime today so I thought I should try it as well. After all, I need to lose this baby fat. I sat at the kitchen counter, requested some lime and Lipton without milk from the chef, he brought it. I drank it. It felt light, too light. Then I asked him to make some omelette. He did. I then asked him for bread and butter to complement the omelette. It was at that moment I realized my weight loss journey would be long .

@jon_d_doe Honestly, I feel that pain 😭. I get the same feeling when I think about MTN. I clearly remember when the shares were around ₦199 over a year ago, and I didn’t buy. Now it’s over ₦600. Just imagining what an early position would be worth today is enough to give someone

I read somewhere that, if you had invested $10k in Tesla stocks 5 years ago, it would have been worth over $138k today. To think that I had $10k dollars 5 years ago. 😭😭😭😭 End.

🎉 Celebrating 40 Years of Grace and Impact! 🎉 Today, as I celebrate my 40th birthday, I am filled with gratitude for the grace and privilege to witness this milestone and the countless opportunities I have had to touch lives across many countries. Over four decades, I have learned that true fulfillment comes from lifting others as you rise. To mark this special day, I am thrilled to announce the official launch of the Muyiwa Igbalajobi Foundation @OIFoundation2 The Foundation is dedicated to empowering less privileged students, youth, and scholarship aspirants across Ekiti and beyond. Our mission is to provide educational support, mentorship, and resources that enable these young people to build brighter futures. One story close to my heart is that of Oluwadamilare, whom I began supporting in September 2025 after he couldn’t afford ₦15,000 per term for school fees. I invite you to join me in making a difference. Contributions, no matter the size, will help unlock opportunities for these young minds. Together, we can turn this milestone into a celebration of hope, education, and opportunity. 💻 Learn more about the Foundation and our mission at: muyiwaigbalajobifoundation.com Let’s make every life count!

We all like eating Okpa, but how well do you know about the crop that it's produced from? I've highlighted some very interesting facts about Bambara groundnuts for you👇 - Bambara groundnut is sometimes called “the hidden treasure of Africa”, because it grows underground and thrives where other crops fail It thrives in extremely poor, dry soils where maize, rice, or beans would fail. - The plant is highly drought-resistant, capable of producing food with almost no rainfall. - Bambara seeds are tiny but packed with protein, carbohydrates, and essential minerals. - The crop is rich in antioxidants, helping support the immune system and overall health. - One plant can produce dozens of pods buried underground, turning farmers into “nut treasure hunters.” - Bambara groundnut can be used to make snacks, flours, and traditional dishes, showing its culinary versatility. - The plant has a short growing cycle, producing harvestable seeds in just 3–4 months. - The crop can survive long periods of drought, making it a vital food security crop. - Bambara groundnut seeds are naturally low in fat but high in protein, making them ideal for healthy diets. - They can be fermented or roasted, creating different flavors and extending shelf life. - Some studies suggest Bambara groundnut has anti-diabetic and cholesterol-lowering properties. - The crop is climate-smart, tolerating heat, poor soil, and minimal rainfall almost indestructible. - Economically, it provides income for smallholder farmers, who sell both raw and processed seeds. - Researchers are exploring Bambara groundnut as a superfood alternative to more common legumes like soy and peanuts. Bambara is a great crop and a super food. When next you see it just buy and chow. My Enugu people no dey use am play normally sef😎👌 Happy New Week Lanre NaijaFarmer

Watching this event live on @channelstv, one can't but wonder: Why is the US Congress more concerned about the killings in Nigeria than we ourselves are? Why are they the ones asking the questions we won't ask? Why hasn't there been a public hearing organised by our @nassnigeria?
