AI being banned or discourage in law firms. They are not separating the potential to the Business of Law from the Practice of Law. I can see the concern re: the practice. But the business-side has so much to gain and support the partners better by use AI.

@jkubicki Law firms are not banning “AI” in general, they’re banning ChatGPT for sound security and reliability reasons. In fact, we’ve been floored at @casetext by the flood of interest in CoCounsel. Responsible firms are engaging with AI solutions that are professional-grade.

@bobambrogi yes! vision defines the problem you're trying to solve. we realized at @casetext that empowering attorneys to complete tasks better/faster/more affordably is a different (bigger) challenge than just making the underlying legal info more available. many lessons!
