A little bit of news .. I am honoured and humbled to have been chosen by His Majesty the King to serve as High Sheriff of Greater Manchester from April for one year. I am looking forward to meeting as many volunteers and voluntary groups as I can to say thank you.

Morning everyone. It’s been an extremely sad week this week as my beautiful mum-in-law passed away 😥 I’ll just say this, don’t take life for granted it moves by swifter than you think! RIP Ann. 😥😥

The Mayor’s Community Iftar at Rochdale Town Hall this evening. A wonderful gathering of multiple faiths, volunteers & dignitaries sharing the breaking of the fast — great company, fabulous food, a real celebration of community. Lovely to catch up with fellow DLs too. @GMLO_UK
