Don’t know if this person is neolib but she has the neolib’s talent for grotesquely twisting the truth of something with her politically correct lib-speak. « Uyghur genocide » is closer to the holocaust than Gaza. Even though they are still waving old satellite maps of camel farms around claiming they are reeducation camps and no new pictures of the genocide came out. Meanwhile, my timeline has been clogged with horrors from Gaza. It reminds me of @PLottaz’s concept of « one west »: “If one looks at the many ways these entities interact, not only through treaty arrangements but through the social integration of trade, free movement of people, and especially intermingling of elites, one finds an entire epistemic community building voluntary policy coordination through “shared value” discourse and belief systems in which Russia is a “threat,” China is a “challenger,” Israel is a “victim,” and so on.”

Ok this explains it. She really thought if she played it right she could sneak by a soft position on Israel, and can't understand why it didn't work. That nobody tolerated a middle ground is clearly the fault of the insane radical left, and that's why this is all she talks about.

The direct actions taken by the government to systematically destroy the ethnicity. The Uyghur culture is dead forever for all we know.
