You can blame anyone for meddling in US democracy, except for the country whose PM gets standing ovations in congress, for wich the US is fighting endless wars in West Asia, and whose lobbying groups sponsors every senator on capitol hill. If Americans are killed, we hit back, it’s our doctrine & likely already underway, so not worth arguing about. What comes next is the issue. We should remove our troops/bases to deprive Iran of targets, deescalate the war & transition to economic negotiations to open the SOH.

Seriously, what do you expect, @joekent16jan19 ??? That Iran, after being attacked, will strike back only at empty US military facilities but if they kill one US soldier they „crossed a line“ that the US must „defend“? What did you expect Iran would do?

The Chabahar Maritime Surveillance Tower — a civilian facility dedicated to maritime safety and navigation — was deliberately targeted by the United States on 16 June as part of its ongoing aggression that began on 28 February. The U.S. Secretary of War proudly released footage of the tower’s collapse. Had he been able, he would likely have broadcast the lethal missile attack on the #Minab school and the massacre of civilians in #Lamerd with the same chilling pride. Last night, the U.S also attacked power facilities and desalination pumps at the Bunji village pier in Jask, leaving more than 10,000 people without access to drinking water. For a State that once cast itself as the global champion of order, liberalism, and the war on terrorism, proudly displaying images of destroyed bridges and civilian infrastructure has become its only remaining “victory.” Yet with the collapse of every bridge, every tower, and every civilian facility, it is not merely steel and concrete that is being reduced to rubble. It is America’s moral standing — along with the entire architecture of international law and the civilizational claims of the West — that is crumbling before the world’s eyes. The question that must now be asked of America and its allies is stark and simple: What is the real difference between what they have done in Chabahar, Minab, Lamerd, and Jask, and the very acts of terrorism they once invoked to justify their wars and occupations?

There is a 2025 study by CSIS about the rise of left wing terrorism that the US president just announced a „global“ campaign against. The findings of the study are truly shocking. I‘m horribly sorry to see that Max Blumenthal, one of the US‘ finest and most courageous journalists is receiving threats to his live by postal mail. The intimidation tactics by criminal(s) who, judging from the letter, seem to have zionist leanings, are very concerning and I hope the US police will try to find out who is responsible for this and do everything in their power to protect Max. ‚Kapo‘, by the way, refers to collaborationist Jews during the Holocaust who helped the Nazis organise other Jews into their slaughter. And the fake name of the sender reads as „You‘r dead meat“. Horrible.

Several days ago, I received a threatening letter informing me that I am "moving up on 'the List," and that I am "fucked." The letter calls me a "kapo," indicating its authorship by a Zionist fanatic, possibly affiliated with an outfit like JDL Brotherhood 613, or from Betar dead-enders who advocate violence against perceived enemies of Israel. I opened this letter as Israel-backed Trump admin allies like Laura Loomer portrayed me as a national security threat and demanded my persecution for reporting from Iran, and as the Trump admin harassed me by illegally seizing my phones. I am not the only person to have received these letters. Howard Heath, a state representative in New Hampshire who is campaigning for Congress on a pledge to cut off military aid to Israel, also reported receiving a letter from the same "Yoor Dedmeet." The return address applied to the letter is the field office of Rep. Rashida Tlaib, the only Palestinian member of Congress. To me, this indicates that she and her staff could also be targets of whichever malicious individual or group sent the letter. I have filed a report with local police and informed the US Postal Service Inspector of this threatening letter.
