85% of resident (formerly junior) doctors underpaid £100s-£1000s per year. Great to present on widespread underpayment of almost all @BMA_JuniorDocs, and what we are doing at @RBNHSFT to correct it. If you haven't checked your salary, please do!

@Jack_Haywood92 You should be paid for the shifts that you work, we suggest: 1. Get your personalised workschedule and generic full-time workschedule (contractural requirements) 2. Get your payslips 3. Calculate your pay using our pay guide and you'll know exactly what you should be getting

@KateBurkeNHS On the money again 👏👏 What about staff working overnight? Options very restricted and nobody really wants a reheated pasty from a vending machine. No offence Kernow. During COVID we had access to much more hot food overnight. Are we less deserving of this now?

@NHSEngland @NHSEngland hopefully you mean HR as well as 'payroll' accuracy. As a lot of errors occur upstream (HR), especially for LTFT pay, which in London (at least) is usually wrong. Soul destroying to have to fight your corner to get paid properly as well as cope with everything else..

The NHS is setting out measures to improve the working lives of postgraduate doctors. These include improving payroll accuracy, reducing admin burden and enhancing choice and flexibility with rotas. england.nhs.uk/publication/im…

@dr_emmacoombe @NHSEngland Interesting use of the word 'Payroll'. Hopefully they don't just mean the bit AFTER HR do your workschedule and pay calculations and send to SBS. Lots of errors originate upstream... Also looking forward to hearing what additional resource will be allocated to deliver these 3
