Several First Responders came together today to give tribute to LVMPD Officer Marc Kahre (EOW: October 11, 1988). Officer Kahre’s life will continue to be remembered for generations thanks to his family, friends, and namesake school.

LVMPD Coffee with a Cop at T-Mobile (6211 N Decatur) gave customers a chance to bring their questions to the officers in a jovial and comfortable setting. Thank you T-Mobile for offering the place, coffee, snacks, and swag!

🏐Come out TOMORROW to our First Tuesday at Centennial Hills Park Volleyball Courts! 🚔 🚨 Engage with First Responders in a fun game of volleyball. Stop by the information tables to learn the difference between E-bikes and Motorcycles, and explore other safety tips.

💙🕊️ LVMPD Undersheriff Andrew Walsh and Northwest Area Command took a somber moment to remember fallen officers Igor Soldo and Allyn Beck during the groundbreaking ceremony for the Igor Soldo Memorial Park”, scheduled to open in Sky Canyon early 2027.💙

The Northwest Area Command representing LVMPD at Darnell Elementary Schools Career on Wheels to hundreds of elementary children. Students got a chance to check out the patrol cars, chirp the sirens and learn about how these cars help us in the field.

First Tuesday will take place off site at Centennial Hills Park. In partnership with Councilwoman Nancy Brune, information and resources on E-bikes will be provided.

2026 Personal & Family Preparedness Expo had plenty to offer! Fifteen classrooms each teaching safety. LVMPD was pleased to offer Fraud/Identity/Financial Crimes, and various crime prevention resources in the gym. Outside the Police Cyber Truck offered hands on engagement.
