@PTSDKintsugi It's natural to feel like that, and is a reflection of the love between you. But you are in many ways still united: she exists through you, through your memories and how she shaped you. Living your life & keeping those memories alive strengthens that, more so than anything.

@KGuilaine This is awful. Yesterday, Nailah (5yo) kept insisting she wanted to paint her face white, because white is best and beautiful, and she doesn’t want to be brown. She’s gotten this idea from TV - mainly white characters. So I had to explain racism and supremacy to my 5yo.
