I've made my own development pipeline or whatever it's called. I vibe code locally, then push to gitlab on my home server which then has runners to push the code to a prod server also on my home server. So far I have built my own finance tracking app and an app to help with some work stuff. Next is an investment app. All the data and code is stored on my local network, no 3rd parties involved!

I used to laugh when I saw this sort of thing in university. But university students grow up and become teachers, bureaucrats, lawyers and judges. This is your ruling class now.

@MaxTwain24 I don't think the war is over yet. Going to have to wait another 20 years and a few trillion dollars for that.

@univrsle Bro doesn't even recycle...because no one is giving them a dime for each time they do lol Imagine only caring about the environment because you're paid to. Wild take.

@LWhatsHisFace Not yet, but it will be soon....Retail initially promised to take back empties, but they reneged. The program was about to shut down but the Beer Store has said they will keep taking them for a while and returning the deposit to customers. But it's not a long term solution.

Are you retarded? In what world do stores selling beer go up 100%+ mean it's less available? If you know of an underserved market guess what you can do now that you couldn't do before...you can open your own beer store! Amazing...it's almost like that's how markets work. People open a business to meet a demand. "It's better one giant corporation controls an entire market for millions of people because some small town needs to get drunk." Is one hell of a bad take. Go open a craft beer store if you care so much and believe there is demand. Ford has given you the freedom to pursue your love of craft beer without needing to open a whole brewery. Stop bitching about wanting the government to serve you everything. Typical do nothing Canadian attitude. Also, fuck Doug Ford, didn't even vote for that loser. But I'll always defend ending government monopolies. Peace out.

@LWhatsHisFace @stratman119 But it IS less available...some communities lost their Beer Store (some lost their LCBO & Beer Store) and none have replaced it....maybe the local gas station sells a brand or two but they lost out even IF all of a sudden a lot of gas stations in the GTA started carrying it

@univrsle Wait you can't recycle cans and bottles anymore? Do you just throw them out in the garbage now? Seems wasteful.

@LWhatsHisFace Definitely what you can see serves as proof. Going to add we lost our recycling program that the retailers promised but failed to pick up. And while initially a lot of retailers like gas and convenience added beer many have since removed it....and grocery always sold it.

Love the pivot from "it's less available" to "the industry makes less" lol You claim no one had a problem but I did. So ford spent $22M on me and not you. Welcome to democracy I guess. The government is going to waste money on shit you don't like. Surprised your aren't used to this yet.

@LWhatsHisFace @stratman119 No that's a generalization that isn't always the case.....as in this one. We paid 225M, industry made less and we lost over 2K jobs and counting......face it, Ford exploited thinking like yours to fix a problem no one was having.

@univrsle @stratman119 We paid $225M to end a government monopoly. Wished we did it to all government monopolies. Who cares if less people are buying less beer? Do you know how much money the government wastes on a yearly basis? And you're mad about a one time payment lol

@LWhatsHisFace @stratman119 We paid 225M just for the privilege of destroying a 'not broken' beer industry that is now not selling more (which was the premise of doing all this) and for which we have lost thousands of jobs....this 'whim' has cost us a lot for no benefit.

@LWhatsHisFace @stratman119 Did you even read the article? there's a reason why stores are rethinking the wisdom of selling booze...."Yet even as the number of retail locations selling alcohol soared, the amount they sold fell significantly in both dollar and volume terms."

@univrsle Where do you live? Literally every gas station around me has alcohol now. It's clearly available in far more places. More competition in the market place is always a good thing. The beer store should never have had a monopoly.

@LWhatsHisFace Ford is telling you when and what you can drink....and the fun thing with him is now it costs you more, the variety is less and you can buy it in less places......and we paid hundreds of millions for the privilege....explain how that's a good thing

@stratman119 We paid 225M taxpayer's dollars to get out of their contract one year early, we were told it would allow MORE retailers to sell and it would mean better access and prices. Since then less retailers sell, we have less access, variety & 2K jobs loss from the Beer Store & counting
