Bonjour, Paris! 💋 Grow London Global’s RetailTech trade mission headed into the French capital this week, as we said ciao to Milan and began our second leg in France. Our 14 London RetailTech companies got started with a warm welcome to the ecosystem as we met with @ChooseParisReg and @PlugandPlayTC🤝 A huge thanks to Zoe Chrysotom for the fantastic presentation on connecting corporates with scaleups as well as Thomas Fauvel for sharing the support available to our companies in Paris 🙌 Next stop: @KeringGroup. We stopped by to meet the Kering Imagination Lab team to learn all about their approach to innovation and their work with scaleups, with so many insights learnt! Big thanks to the team for hosting us 😍 Our final stop for day 1 in Paris saw us head to the British Embassy in Paris. 🛍 We met with @Hermes_Paris to learn more about their investment strategies and their role as a strategic investor, before joining forces with @LaRetailTech (Barbara Sarre-Deroubaix and Mike Hadjadj) for a wonderful afternoon session with @Monoprix' Helen Thomas. A huge thanks to Monoprix for introducing the launch of the Monoprix Lab scale up programme to our delegates, as well as for the insightful discussions. Big thanks to the La Retail Tech team also for introducing us to their vast network and community which is available when expanding into France 🌟 We finished off the evening with a fantastic networking reception at the stunning Residence in Paris, covering topics including RetailTech, AI and more. Our delegates were treated to a showcase, panels and opportunities, with over 150 guests in attendance.
