Big News: Pakistan Signs Landmark Letter of Interest with Plug and Play to Connect 300 Startups with Silicon Valley In a major step towards strengthening Pakistan's innovation ecosystem, Federal Minister Prof. Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhary, witnessed the signing of a Letter of Intent (LoI) with Plug and Play Tech Center, paving the way for one of Silicon Valley's leading innovation platforms to establish operations in Pakistan. During his visit to Plug and Play Tech Center in Silicon Valley, California, the Minister met with Founder & CEO Saeed Amidi to discuss strategic collaboration aimed at accelerating Pakistan's startup ecosystem and expanding global technology partnerships. Key developments: 📍 Plug and Play will work towards establishing its presence in Islamabad and Karachi as future innovation hubs. 📍 The partnership aims to provide global acceleration opportunities to 300 startups from Pakistan's leading universities. 📍 Pakistani startups will gain access to Plug and Play's global innovation network, connecting them with more than 600 multinational corporations. 📍 The collaboration will strengthen Pakistan's digital economy through innovation, entrepreneurship and AI-driven growth. 📍 The initiative is expected to create new pathways for investment, mentorship and international market access for Pakistani entrepreneurs.
