So where sre we currently? We rejected the key level 82.4 yet again, but consolidating above another key point the 80.4k region. For now the pressure is down, but the market doesn’t seem to honor that, so absobtion of the downwards pressure is very good, exciting and dangerous position $btc is currently in.

I’d rather be wrong shorting from 75K–80K than be wrong longing from 123K down to 60K. It’s a quiet truth about the game. You can be right ten times in a row, trade impeccably for a year straight, and still find that people remember only the one time you wrong. Unlike so many here, I keep both my wins and my losses fully public. I don’t hide when I’m wrong, even though roughly 95% of this space seems to do exactly that. Yes, I am still short but it’s not looking good.

Of course, people want $BTC to go higher. They turned bullish late and are now exposed in late longs. Naturally, they’re directionally biased based on PA that has already unfolded, without being positioned beforehand. Double sweeps have been very consistent this cycle.

@KillaXBT The 78k level will need to be worked on again before it drops as expected.

$BTC This time, BTC pushed to the upside after the 14th, consistent with the patterns shown in previous examples. Their were only two scenarios we could've seen develop: 1.) Price moves higher for 2–4 days after the 14th, forms a pivot top, then reverses lower within the following 1–2 weeks. 2.) Price rejects immediately from the 14th` high and starts moving down without an additional push higher. As we can see, BTC followed the first scenario. We established an initial high around 78.2K a few days after the 14th. If we continue to track the prior 10 months of price behavior, this would suggest a higher probability of an extended move lower within the next 1–2 weeks. That would also make sense in the context of a range bound market.

@KillaXBT I think the top you're seeing won't be the local top. Short positions have far too much liquidity compared to long positions. A top at 80500 would be ideal for a drop similar to January's -35%.

$BTC As expected, we just swept the local highs + all remaining upside liquidity followed by an immediate rejection. With CPI tomorrow, this structure looks very bearish, indicating a potential local top. I expect price to sweep the LTF range lows next, followed by more downside, targeting the major liquidity clusters sitting below market price…
