Today, I signed a new Ukrainian sanctions package that we must ensure is extended to other jurisdictions as well.
These sanctions target the occupiers – more than one hundred Russian military personnel involved in missile and drone strikes against our country and our people.
There is also a package targeting vessels used by Russia to transport cargo for the war – weapons, ammunition, and military equipment.
We are also preparing new sanctions decisions – both long-range and legal.

«Stop! Stop! Something’s burning up ahead! Out! Vehicles pull back!»
Soldiers of @93Alcatraz of the 93rd Kholodnyi Yar Brigade quickly jump out of two vehicles with their weapons and spread out along the boulevard beneath the trees. The vehicles, with riflemen riding in the back, make sharp turns and disappear.
The soldiers move through Druzhkivka, keeping distance between one another.
They pass a nearly burned-out vehicle – a military pickup truck. A few days later, on this same road, occupiers will strike utility workers with a drone, then a civilian Zhiguli, and later an elderly man on a bicycle.
The soldiers had barely crossed the road near Druzhkivka’s well-known airplane monument when they heard the buzzing of an enemy drone. They immediately opened fire into the sky at the drone, which was flying straight toward the road where the vehicle hit earlier had not yet fully burned out. A sharp explosion – and the road was suddenly covered with debris and white fragments from the neutralized FPV drone.
Drone warfare has changed Druzhkivka in strange ways. Some streets are still full of people going to the market, standing in line for humanitarian aid, hauling water in carts, sitting on benches outside apartment buildings, and going about everyday life. The streets are covered in May blossoms. At times, it can even seem as if the war is still far away.
At the same time, driving through the city can become a deadly lottery. Upper floors of apartment buildings are often burned out from drone strikes, parts of the private housing sector have been torn apart by glide bombs, and solitary ground robots roll along the roads.
Maintaining logistics routes through Druzhkivka is becoming increasingly difficult. Despite this, the infantry on the front line, including the soldiers of Alcatraz, continue receiving support. That is why the enemy is still being held back near neighboring Kostiantynivka, more than 10 kilometers from Druzhkivka.

#NetsForLife: How much is it really needed? You wake up in the morning, and the first thing you see is a message on your phone from Lovely Zhanna B. (CF “Nation of Winners”): "My dear, could you put us on the waiting list for anti-drone nets, as all the lads are asking for them. And mosquito sprays, insect repellents, and repellents for mosquitoes and ticks. This is a request for the infantry and assault units. Thank you, our dear people, for being a reliable support!" This is the Pokrovsk direction; it’s always intense there. And while mosquito repellents offer comfort, the nets mean life. You won’t have to apply a tourniquet if an enemy drone gets tangled in the net and doesn’t shatter on impact. According to the soldiers, the nets provide those precious few seconds that allow them to take cover behind a shelter or in a dugout. To pay for previous orders of nets that we took from Mr Alexei and Space Alien Akita Doggos, we took out a loan of $780. Why? Once again, it’s a matter of survival; all the nets were dispatched almost immediately. Coast of Life accounts for approximately 20–25% of all the nets produced by this particular company. That’s why it’s so important to pay the bills on time, so that Alexei can buy thread and continue making nets. Today’s request from Zhanna is yet another “At least 10, please – the lads are really asking for them”. Ten large packs – that’s another $500 we need to find somewhere. As for the permethrin and mosquito repellents we’re making? We have enough essential oil for about 2,000 balms and 500 candles. How much permethrin do we need for the Poktorosky area? At least 500 bottles – of course, twice that would be better, but 500 will already help the situation. How much is that in money? That’s another $2,000. The problem is that we can’t raise the money for the essential oils for the repellents ($1,000). So here’s a question for the audience: what souvenirs haven’t you managed to buy yet? Azov Representatives Addressed the Latvian Parliament on Countering Russia in the Cognitive Dimension
The conference, organized through the joint initiative of the Defense Committee of the Saeima of the Republic of Latvia, the NGO Support Azov Latvia, and First Corps Azov, was held for the first time within the walls of the Saeima. It brought together Corps servicemembers, strategic communications specialists, NATO StratCom representatives, and Latvia's senior military and political leadership.
Discussions covered Russia's cognitive warfare strategy, the practical implementation of the "total defense" doctrine, and the role of media and education in countering Russian narratives.
"By challenging Ukraine's borders and the authority of international institutions, Russia is contesting the very framework of rules on which the world order rests. An empire that has not accepted its own death does not need victory. It needs chaos, in which its voice can once again be heard," said Colonel Arsen "Lemko" Dmytryk, Chief of Staff of First Corps Azov, in his remarks.
The Azov delegation also participated in a closed session with representatives of defense committees from nine Northern European and Baltic nations. "It is important to understand: Russia will act on its own timeline. Any rhetorical concessions made under the logic of 'not provoking' are a reflexive control trap and a strategic threat to European nations," said Oleksandr "Abrek" Chornyi during the discussion.
The visit highlighted the need for new coalitions ensuring partner engagement with Ukraine across all dimensions of a new total war. The Commander of Zemessardze, Brigadier General Aivars Krjukows, cited the already-established partnership between First Corps Azov brigades and Zemessardze brigades as a model of effective cooperation.

Moscow claimed Ukrainian personnel were stationed at five Latvian facilities and warned that NATO membership would not shield “accomplices of terrorists” from retaliation. The statement came from Russia’s SVR intelligence agency led by Sergey Naryshkin amid rising tensions across the Baltic region.
