📢 A novel gene therapy for #Dravet. jci.org/articles/view/…. Using Canine adenovirus-2 (CAV-2) we delivered the full SCN1A coding sequence into the hippocampus and thalamus of juvenile Dravet mice.

Sleep and thermoregulation are usually coupled. In our new paper, we find that in a #Dravet syndrome 🐭 this coupling collapses, with sleep failing to induce cooling and warmth failing to promote sleep. nature.com/articles/s4146…
