This week, our team had the pleasure of attending the #SimposiNeurobiologia2024 and learning from truly excellent presentations. We were also able to share our research through two amazing talks by Alba and Marina, as well as with the posters presented by Joana and Gerard!🧠🔬

Tomorrow marks the end of Julia's Erasmus stay at the Vilalab. During these months she has proven to be a great scientist, labmate, and friend. We will miss you, but we wish you the best of lucks! We are sure a brilliant future as a scientist awaits you ;)

Yesterday we attended the 1st #PhDDayVH at @vallhebron. Sometimes we are so focused in our own projects that we miss the opportunity to learn about fellow PhD students working very close to us. It was great to be able to do just that. Big thank you to the organisers of the event!

We are very happy to have attended the ASAP US Collaborative meeting. Alba Nicolau and Vilalab's humble CM have been able to share our work in the form of two posters and a flash talk. We have also met and learned from fellow researchers in the PD community! #CRNSanDiego2023

As the @WorldPDCongress comes to an end, it's time to make balance. This has been an incredibly enriching experience for all the Vilalab. We enjoyed being able to share our work, learn about other groups' research and listen about the patient's experiences!🧠🌷🧬🧪🦊 #wpc2023

Today we closed the @WorldPDCongress with an amazing talk by @NuriaPenuelas! She did a great job at explaining our neuromelanin-producing models during the Hot Topics session. Congratulations on a fantastic job, Núria!

Today Marina, Núria and Gerard presented their posters🤩. With these, the Vilalab presented 6 posters at the WPC2023, three of which have been selected for the poster tour!! Congratulations to all of them✨🧠🥳

This Monday we had the opportunity to show our laboratories to PD patients and their families in the context of the II #Parkinson workshop. It was such a pleasure learning about their experiences while sharing our research!! 🧪🔬🧠

@LagunaAriadna inspired us all today with a talk about her career. She explained not only her amazing scientific projects, but also the educational and divulgative initiatives she takes part in. Truly an example on how to contribute to each and every aspect of science!
