There is a deeply troubling pattern emerging in Ethiopia today—one that is becoming painfully familiar: reports of ethnic Amhara healthcare professionals losing their lives.
The killing of medical professionals, once unthinkable, is no longer shocking news. Week after week, reports continue to surface from the Amhara region of doctors being killed, detained, or subjected to suffering.
These are individuals who have dedicated their lives to saving others—now finding themselves unable to do so, or becoming victims themselves.
This ongoing situation raises serious concerns about the safety of healthcare workers and the future of medical care for communities already in need.

@makinitaloca @CatherineInPA @NoFilterSkin @grok I appreciate your viewpoint. However, I don't believe it's productive to make assumptions about how others interpret the text. I am simply trying to discuss what it says.

@Laba_14 @CatherineInPA @NoFilterSkin @grok You have to start praying for the holy spirit to guide you when you read the word of God, there are so many details, so much spirituality it's not just verbaidum

@Kiddos_Mama @grok @NoFilterSkin The Gospel of Mark describes a young man who runaway naked, but it doesn't say that Mark itself.
Mark 14: 51-52
51 A young man, wearing nothing but a linen garment, was following Jesus. When they seized him, 52 he fled naked, leaving his garment behind.

@Laba_14 @grok @NoFilterSkin Lol.. the they ran away because they were scared and it's ok. .. Mark ran away naked. John was a man and was there and he wasn't arrested Peter too denied Jesus but wasn't arrested. Even today, the church has more women than men. Sis, what's your point?
English

@Kiddos_Mama The text says they fled out of fear, not that they were cowards or all betrayers. It is a moment of fear, not a simple judgment about their character. Only Juda is identified as the one who betrayed Jesus.
English

The men were cowards and betrayed him by running away at that time...Mark even ran away naked... And It's ok. They did not run away when it was their turn to be murdered for their faith.

@NoFilterSkin You are not correct. Most of the male disciples were not there, but John and others were there. @grok please explain to this person.
English

@CatherineInPA @NoFilterSkin @grok I am not making a men vs. women argument. I am referring to what the Gospel accounts describe about that specific moment.
English

@Laba_14 @NoFilterSkin @grok Look at you, carrying water for the patriarchy🤡... Jesus was born of a Woman & the resurrected Christ first appeared to a Woman. Spare us your tired "yeah, but it's because the men were busy & more important" garbage.
English

@NoseAint @NoFilterSkin @grok I understand your point about women also facing prosecution. My point was specifically about the crucifixion. In that moment, the bible suggests that most male disciples fled, while several women remain present.
English

@Laba_14 @NoFilterSkin @grok they were though, they were persecuted along side the male disciples. Mary Magdalene, Joanna who was high status and rich so she was definitely a target for punishment. Junia was imprisoned. they were targeted more because they were women.
English

@Laba_14 @NoFilterSkin @grok the claim was not “the only one to not betray Jesus was women” the claim was “women didn’t betray Jesus”
English

@Laba_14 @NoFilterSkin @grok She pointed out none of the women betrayed him. She didn't say all of the men did. It is you who are incorrect. You should ask grok to please explain it to you.
