My Lib Dem mutuals really don't seem to understand that, outside of Hull, Sheffield, and Liverpool, they're essentially dead in towns and cities in the North. This isn't a particularly surprising result

GM typifies a lot of the Tories problems. In our focus groups there some real praise for Badenoch but so quickly tempered by an unwillingness to forgive her party for partygate/minibudget/migration failures and it shows in the result.

@Libcon42 What was the level of increase compared to GE? Labour won 25 out of 27 seats in a much larger turnout than Thursday where it was more than halved so not a representative sample.
