Interesting infographic from @equalitytrust on land ownership in the UK👇🏻 Often development focuses on how public sector land can be utilised to tackle the housing & homelessness crisis but as it only accounted for 8.5% in 2018 (likely less now!), we probably need to re-focus?🤔

The UK's land is owned by a tiny number of people – just 1% of the population own 70% of land. Huge amounts of public land have been sold off since the 70s and the price of land has skyrocketed, encouraging the housing and climate crises and hurting our entire society.
