@TenMyou5 @PokemonGOHubNet Where did it say guaranteed? I thought it was 1 in 20 odds. Re: ratta, about a 2% chance of not seeing one out of 2,000 caught. That's pretty lousy luck, but not outlandish.
English

@Labrat3 @PokemonGOHubNet Crazy to say such a thing on a day that says it guaranteed also opened or caught 2000 ratta and haven't seen a shiny.

Compensation has been announced for the server issues that occurred during the recent Mega Rayquaza Raid Day, and Pokémon GO trainers are unimpressed:

@TenMyou5 @PokemonGOHubNet The odds of not getting a shiny in 20 raids is 1 in 8, so not unreasonable to just be bad luck.

@PokemonGOHubNet One in every 10 a shiny well I did 20 and didn't see one SMH

@US_FDA @AACR An important topic being discussed today. It is time to standardize DPYD testing prior to first exposure to fluoropyrimidines. Each story of a DPD-related death is heartbreaking as it could have been prevented with an inexpensive test. #AACRSciencePolicy

@decoding_engg The 52nd Mersenne prime should be announced within days pending final proof per mersenne.org. The first new Mersenne prime in 6 years.
English

Do you know Mersenne Primes?
They are primes of the form 2ᵖ−1 where p is also a prime number.
They are named after French Marin Mersenne, who studied them in the early 17th century.
As of now, 51 Mersenne primes are known. The largest known prime number, 2^(82589933) − 1, is a Mersenne prime with p = 82589933

In oncology, we spend a lot of money/effort trying to find new drugs. The best drug in GI cancers continues to be 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) - a drug which costs <$1/dose. We could likely be using this drug far better. Here's a first step: authors.elsevier.com/c/1i~AA9UKeTln…
