I am taking a stand against government overreach (legislated alteration of clocks) and in favor of the natural order (solar noon being closest to 12:00) by not observing #DaylightSavingsTime. I will continue to use Eastern Standard Time (EST), which is equivalent to CDT.

They're still trying to censor this with community notes, but the awareness momentum is high now because of high spray this week.

Twitter is a toxic place where substance-free rage-bait gets hundreds of likes and its purveyors like @AntiTrumpCanada get hundreds of thousands of followers.

@ashincolorado X allows community notes on proven info but they point to the federal gov and say “look, they said it’s not true so that’s fact”. Elon and x ain’t perfect but when they’re knowingly complicit they’re equally as guilty. If they weren’t, they’d put a stop to lies like this.

Standard Time keeps clocks neutral and fair. Daylight Saving Time mandates early waking and less sleeping.

Time changes are dumb. Let's fix them. Did you know our current timezones were drawn by the railroads 140 years ago? Let's modernize them with what I'm calling the "Sunrise Rule"... using actual solar data. Use 5 timezones and target the latest sunrise of the year at around 8:20 AM, and we get this map. It ain't perfect, but it works. Currently the US swings between UTC-4 and UTC-8 throughout the year, that's 5 zones we rotate through, crammed into 4 at any given moment. Why not just use all 5 and leave it be? Every time Congress tries to fix DST, they keep the same 4 zones and it fails because northern cities end up with 9 AM sunrises. No dark mornings AND more evening light. Daylight Savings crowd wins. Standard time crowd wins. No more clock changes. Everybody wins.

@MatthewBec11750 @vileTexan Nailed it. That's basically just a cover for permanent DST except in "western fringe" areas that already have de facto DST in Standard Time.

@vileTexan How exactly is an 8:20 AM sunrise “no dark mornings”? That’s the definition of a dark morning.

@vileTexan We prefer the rule where the sun reaches its highest point within 30 minutes of 12:00 noon across all locations. Most school and work start around 8am. We need sunlight before then!

@vileTexan @NukeDST Sunrises after 8:00 are dangerous and unnatural. Your idea would mean permanent DST for the East Coast and permanent Standard Time for the West Coast. As an easterner, I resent that idea.

It's the #FirstDayofSpring and they're blocking the sun again, as proven by this sun halo which indicates high levels of sprayed pollutants in the sky. This is the 2nd sun halo in 3 days!

@DrainLyfe120 @newaccount_ky The whole Northeast was like that at least part of the day yesterday. They took what should have been a completely blue sky with a clearly defined high pressure center in place and turned it completely white with a high-intensity spraying operation.
