Kevin Feige just may have revealed RDJ's future after 'AVENGERS SECRET WARS'
If Avengers: Secret Wars follows the 2015 Secret Wars comics, Doom isn't killed after his final battle with Reed Richards. He's given a second chance and returns to Latveria.
In the comics, Victor later creates a suit that combines Doom and Iron Man, becoming the Infamous Iron Man.
With Tony Stark dead in the MCU, Marvel could adapt this by having Robert Downey Jr.'s Victor Von Doom take up that mantle instead.
If that's the plan, Secret Wars won't be the end of RDJ's Doom it'll be the beginning of Infamous Iron Man.

@TomMace20 @Sksj002 So in the comics after secret wars Doom doesn’t die. He’s getting so much based off his name and how much he’s on screen. If he continues to be doom after he won’t be as powerful when the universe is reset to normal after. He probably won’t even remember what he did. Most won’t.

@TomMace20 @Sksj002 RDJ won’t be in every film for the next 10 years. He will play Doom only. Most likely attached to F4. He brings in money and i’m sure can be convinced to be paid less if the appearance isn’t to be in the full movie. We get a new younger actor to play Iron Man post Secret Wars.

This Doctor Doom has the exact same problems as all the others. He’s not Romani, has vaguely defined powers and no effort is given towards actually adapting his backstory from the comics. The ONLY difference is this time he has a cool design, but thats lipstick on a pig.
