Stupidest thing I did while backing up my late mom’s phone: 1. I wonder it’s still getting service 2. I’ll try placing a phone call 3. I’ll call my own number as a test, since I know my number 4. [place call] 5. [own phone lights up saying “Mom” is calling] 6. burst into tears

Happened while I was driving down to see her. I did not make it there in time. I still have 6.5 hours of driving ahead of me. I am driving alone; I don’t know how I am going to get through the rest of this drive alone… She was the very best mom in the world

My mother is gone

Today’s the first day I’ve had off in about a week and a half. I’m gonna prioritize self care and stay away from the internet I. Think. I kinda miss when I had hope that humanity would do the right thing and I could trust people I knew

Sure this app can be terrible but it also has this night shift worker who found a kitten he definitely couldn’t keep, then he live tweeted feeding the kitten scrambled eggs and by the time his shift was over he had named the kitten and the kitten was sleeping in his beard

Having a period is wild. For a week every month you feel completely horrible. Headaches, migraines, nausea, vomiting, cramps, back pain, fatigue, etc. There's no bonus sick time or consideration for it and nobody really believes that you're ill.

Guess who was fully over covid for all of 3 days, then started getting a whole different set of symptoms & is now positive for covid again 😑 It’s such different symptoms that all I can think is I got 2 different strains, 2 weeks apart??
