@LeaLeaIsUntamed @RSMRonda it is kind of wild, are there any other countries that stop paying their employees while waiting for budgets to pass? (it doesn’t work that way in my country, federal employees are always paid)

I finished my Big Bang fic and true to form, where I estimated 40K she clocked in at 53K. I dont even surprise myself anymore.

@anaphoricae they take and cherish photos of each other. one or both are often a teacher. food as plot. someone is going to cry, but its probably both. lwj has friends agenda. the one date to moving in together pipeline.

@LadyEnReads YES on the one hand it's nice to spend time with everyone, on the other hand I haven't been home to lie down in bed and do nothing 😔 an introvert needs nothing time

I severely underestimated the amount of people that would want to see me during my vacation

@Ohmystars19v2 if you like audiobooks there is a very active community of podficcers making audiobooks of wangxian fanfic. since we tend to pick their favorites to record its a good way to find great stories. Run a tag search for “Podfic” to find us.

@Fereael Oh man, such a good fic! I don't think I've heard about any plans for it and I don't know the podficcer, but it's definitely getting to be long enough that I think somebody else could pick it up. I'll keep you updated if I hear anything!

So I'm reading what I have written for ch 2 of RTYST and even though I was like 2 scenes from the end, I've taken such a huge break that I kinda wanna change it. I might have to up the chapter count to 3. Not because I have a lot left to write but bc the pacing is ALL OFF

Due to a quick response and a fast attack, Firefighters prevented a BBQ fire from spreading to the home yesterday evening in Orleans.   At approx. 18:09 yesterday, the Ottawa Fire Services Communications Division received multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting heavy smoke and flames from a BBQ fire that was spreading to the siding of the home in the 100 block of Teal Cres. Upon arrival, Firefighters confirmed heavy black smoke coming from the backyard of the attached end-unit townhome. Firefighters initiated a fast attack and advanced a hose line to the backyard. A fence was fully engulfed in smoke and flames and the propane tank from the BBQ was on the ground and blowing off its relief valve. A secondary crew went inside to search for occupants and check if the flames had breached the inside of the home. The flames were extinguished and the fire was declared under control at 18:28. Firefighters inside the home confirmed all occupants had safely evacuated and there was no fire extension into the home. Firefighters cut down a portion of the fence and soaked it down with water. Parts of the siding of the home melted due to the heat. There are no reported injuries and the occupants will not be displaced due to the fire. #OttNews
