The awesome and massive steam evaporator where sap from the High Wood is turned into maple syrup. Our friend who taps the trees runs it with his family. It’s fun watching our little girls run around it together.

@OldHollowTree @LadyHollowTree Not sure what it is about this jar or the honey but it just keeps refilling. Everytime I open the cabinet there is more in there.
Interesting side note: I also have fewer grey hairs than I used to after I began enjoying this honey.

@LadyHollowTree Just got my order yesterday! The package was so cute, i didn’t even want to open it. It was so thoughtfully put together even a little handwritten thank you on my receipt. The candles are as beautiful in person as they are in pictures and smell just like the inside of a hive 🥰🥰

Pure maple syrup from our family forest is back in stock at Humming Meadow dot com.
One pint (16 fl. oz.) of pure Vermont maple syrup from trees tapped in the High Wood by our friends at CDA Maple. The Armstrong family has been sugaring in Central Vermont for five generations. Dark in color with a robust taste.

This is just what happens as this particular wood grain candle type burns. It’s beautiful!
The candles are pure beeswax with no added scent so whatever smell is there is what’s in the wax naturally. The scent is light and (I think) pleasant but you might ask them if they’ve had experience with beeswax candles in the past.

Is that like a specific pour technique or something?
I asked previously - how strong is the odor?
I'd love to gift this but the recipient has hyper-smell, so I can't do any added fragrances at all.
