There is a POS girl right in front of my gate. I have been withdrawing from her for 6 months. Good conduct, trustworthy, no drama. Sometimes she would not even wait for my transfer to confirm before handing me the cash. I never counted. I would just pocket and walk. But the last two times I withdrew from her, something felt off. The money did not feel complete. I shrugged it off and assumed I miscounted during my spending. This morning, I drove out and withdrew 20k. She handed me 500 naira notes. This time, I decided to test her without letting her know. I pocketed the money, acted unbothered, got into my car and started counting quietly. 18,500 naira. Now here is the part that got me. Before I even finished counting, she had already set the 1,500 balance aside. The moment I stepped out of the car, she stretched it toward me and said "I was calling you for the balance." She knew exactly what she did. She was just waiting to see if I would notice. Why is it so hard for people to be honest with money?🤦‍♀️ Above all, love God.
