Te tiran petardos debajo de la puerta de tu negocio. Salta la alarma. Pero el problema, al parecer, eres tú por pedir algo tan radical como que no acumulen un pequeño arsenal en el descansillo de tu planta baja. La respuesta es la de siempre: “Estamos en #Fallas”. Como si esa frase funcionara como salvoconducto para la mala educación, la invasión del espacio ajeno y la irresponsabilidad más chusca. Luego viene el clásico tranquilizador: “Los petardos no incendian”. Y, por supuesto, la joya final, la frase que resume perfectamente cierta mentalidad: “¿Tú no sabes con quién estás hablando? Te mandaré una inspección”. Ese es el verdadero problema. No son solo los #petardos. Es la prepotencia de los #falleros que actúan como si la ciudad les perteneciera, como la convivencia, el respeto y las normas quedaran suspendidos por decreto festivo. No respetan el descanso, no respetan los negocios, no respetan a l@s vecin@s, no respetan el espacio común ni el ajeno. Porque sienten que tienen impunidad, amparad@s muchas veces en el anonimato y en la certeza de que aquí nunca pasa nada. Y cuando alguien protesta, encima pretenden convertir a la víctima en culpable. No, no es tradición. Es abuso disfrazado de costumbre. Y lo indignante no es solo que ocurra, sino que todavía haya quien lo defienda con orgullo. “Cuando una tradición necesita impunidad para sostenerse, ya no estamos hablando de cultura, sino de decadencia.”
