Where were the fathers, uncles, brothers and sons of these women who were raped? Why did it take 200 women to stop a serial rapist and a murderer? Men enable with their silence, their inaction and their gender bias. Glad the women stuck together to protect themselves and their children.

In 2004, serial rapist Akku Yadav terrorized a slum in India for over a decade, raping dozens of women, murdering at least 3 people, and walking free every time thanks to police corruption. On August 13, while appearing for a bail hearing, around 200 women (many his victims) stormed Nagpur District Court armed with kitchen knives, stones & chili powder. They threw chili in his eyes, stabbed him over 70 times, hacked off his penis with a vegetable knife, and left him dead on the courtroom floor.

@eldianangel @velcrofemme Yeah, if you're an overweight woman then everything is because of your weight. A doctor once told me I should have gastric bypass surgery & then in the next breath said her friend who had it died during surgery. Mind you this doctor probably weighed 90 lbs.

@velcrofemme i am so sorry you experienced the same. it is even worse when you are overweight, being an overweight woman is like, i have essentially given up. i was told i was constipated, i had to come back the next morning bc i was bleeding MORE and they confirmed a cyst.

one time i went to the ER for an ovarian cyst that ruptured and the doctor wouldn’t give me an ultrasound bc he said “it’s too much radiation for your young uterus” and i said “ultrasounds don’t use radiation” he just.. walked away and didn’t come back until i called my mom

Unless you were born outside the United States, or prior to 1900, you should be able to get a certified copy of your Birth Certificate in person or by mail for $35.00 or less. If you can't figure that out, you probably should not be voting anyway.
