In Greece I encountered some of the warmest, most genuinely kind people.
Once, at a local Greek restaurant, their card terminal wasn’t working. When I said I had no cash, they simply smiled and told me not to worry and to enjoy the meal.
Another time, I stopped for coffee at a small stand, this time run by immigrants. Same situation - no terminal, no cash. They just smiled and made it for me anyway.
There were many moments like this.
It wasn’t just locals - even people who weren’t originally from Greece sometimes showed the same openness. There’s something in the atmosphere there that the Greeks created that seems to bring out that kind of natural kindness.
Much appreciated.
And honestly, their kindness toward animals in this law as well is something others could learn from.

Counter-examples are so rare that the British still obsess over one brown kid murdered way back in 1993.
Millions of white victims have been attacked or killed because of their skin color in the decades since, with barely a whisper from the media, politicians, or self-styled "anti-racists".
Governments have even stopped collecting ethnic crime data in many places, and refuse to make serious inquiries, so we can safely assume reality is much worse than what we already know.
Yet whites are endlessly portrayed as the villains, creating the conditions for further attacks, to the point where we can reasonably talk of causing, aiding and covering up a genocide.

Over 20 years ago, when I was a retail store manager, one of my staff members returned from her food court lunch break a little shaken. When I asked what was wrong, she told me that while she was sitting down to eat, a Muslim mother with several children eating next to her had calmly explained that they were going to take over the country.
The woman said they would simply outbreed the existing population, and that there was nothing Australians could do to prevent their eventual domination.
We all laughed it off at the time and thought the woman was just a one-off wacko, but in hindsight I can see that many Muslims quietly hold this goal and maintain this way of thinking. They will succeed if nobody is willing to restrain their ambitions.
