The Lakers had a 95.8 offensive rating against the Thunder in the regular season. They had a 94.9 offensive rating against them in Game 1 tonight. They just haven't been able to score consistently enough against this defense this season.

Games like these prove just how valuable LeBron James is. When the games matter, he elevates his game, and others can't be counted on to do the same. If he leaves or retires, the Lakers will need to sign at least two players to even come close to his level of production/ impact.

@GuruLakers Hit away but if you’re going to keep the pick, then at least one of DK, Adou, James Jr, or Smith Jr HAS to go. Can’t keep piling up projects that JJ doesn’t utilize. That’s 5 roster spots. I’d move DK regardless. And stop overlooking the value of a good Vet min off the bench.

This is why the lakers MUST hit on this draft. This new CBA means you HAVE TO draft well to compete. Not getting rotation pieces out of two #17 picks is the difference between the Thunder/Spurs. Can’t trade for/sign all your talent anymore.

@Carsobi @KamBrothers No type of offensive game to be had from 2 of your 4 playoff rotation wings (Vando and LaRavia) is unacceptable.

LeBron's struggled with his jumper this year, but he was hot in the first three games of this series and that was *vital* to his success. In the last two games, it's left him. He's 0-9 from 3. He just can't physically impose himself on the game constantly — needs that jumper.

@TheLakersReview LaRavia and Vando are not rotational ‘wings’ on a contending team, plain and simple. 9 and 6 minutes for a combined 4 points is basically unplayable. When your only wing options are a tired LeBron and Rui against a team that’s all wings, size, and youth, you ain’t winning shit.
