I officially closed a chapter with the NFL. Over the last 11 years, I didn’t just grow a career, I found a family. From coworkers who became lifelong friends to meeting my late husband and becoming a mother, the NFL is woven into the fabric of my life. shorturl.at/95pfs

If you watch anything today watch this. I didn’t need to stare at my own mortality I had a front row seat watching my mom do it. It’s a profound paradigm shift when you start looking at the deeper meaning of why we are all here and what our purpose is. James turned a mess into a message and it’s so deeply vulnerable and authentic. I hope his message here helps one person and I think that would be a nice little legacy for someone no longer with us 💕

5 years gone today. it’s been my experience with grief how great it is to talk about Wess, hear stories about him I didn’t know, laugh about the old ones. it keeps him closer

@greggrosenthal Was reminded this week (via Lakisha IG) how fun ‘The Paramour’ era was - loved the glimpses of that love story (along with all the amazeballs football talk). I still ref his Google doc for book recs… total legend. He is missed fondly by so many ‘fans’. #HeedTheCall

When I was doing a full-time, non-journalism 9-5 + juggling freelance writing and radio just trying to keep this dream alive, I’d listen to @ChrisWesseling on the pod during the day. Then one day, he followed me. It may seem small but that acceptance meant everything for a young journalist struggling to believe in herself. I can only wonder how many other journalists Chris did this for. A really good human, as is @LakishaJackson. He is thought of fondly and he is missed.

I was informed that the team will be seeking a trade immediately and will be working with me and my family to find the right place to continue competing for championships. I don’t agree with the decision and always believed it was going to begin and end in LA. Still, if there’s one thing that I have learned over the years: there are so many things that are out of your control, but it is how you respond to these things that you will look back on and remember. I have taken so much pride in playing alongside my teammates for the LA community, so thank you for embracing my family and making this such a special place for us. 2024 began with one of the best training camps of my career. Preparations start now for 2025. Highly motivated, as healthy as ever, and looking forward to playing elite football for years to come. Love you guys.. But coming for it all.
