@dwcprodz I just don't see the value. It seems like that range is going to be golden for defensive prospects bc this draft has so many. Proctor would be a huge risk and it could potentially turn into a one year band-aid. I don't think you use a first rounder on that.

@BenPopeCST Am I misremembering or have the 2nd period struggles specifically been a consistent issue for years?
(The team just isn't great so I'm sure the 1st and 3rd aren't great either but Zi feel like the 2nd has been especially bad for us for a while.)

@SatchelPrice Not a bad bet to make. HVL needs to improve but I like what we saw from Westbeld last year. I was worried about losing either one so that means something I guess. I just hope we actually make improvements with the rest of the offseason.

@LivingLikeLogan I think they basically just thought HVL, Westbeld, etc., were better than who they’d potentially take with the picks, which isn’t completely unreasonable but also doesn’t inspire much confidence either way

Low WNBA draft picks aren’t particularly valuable so the cost here is probably negligible but still amusing to see a team that had a minus-13 net rating protecting random depth talent
