November was the wettest in Wales since 2009. While autumn was the 10th wettest since 1836 with 594mm - more rain than during spring and summer combined (385mm).
Spring was the 6th driest on record with 146mm.

@DerekTheWeather It's changed to Ross on Wye UK hot spot yesterday max 29.3c, Hawarden also gone from the Wales MO extremes that's Gogerddan max 28.3c now!
Hawarden, Flintshire recorded nearly 30°C today making it the warmest August bank holiday Monday on record in Wales. Although the bank holiday in August only started in 1971. Previous highest 26.5°C at Crossway, Monmouthshire on 26/08/1991.

@DerekTheWeather Only 3 days ago the weather for the weekend was “wall to wall Sun” but now it’s completely opposite. RhuddFest event in Rhuddlan, this weekend, was going to be dry, now expected to be wet. BBC weather forecast was far from accurate.
An upper trough moving northeastwards is bringing more cloud today. The odd shower but dry for most. Some hazy sunny spells. Turning clearer and sunnier from the south this afternoon and evening. Temperatures rising into the mid to high 20s. 30°C in places e.g. Monmouth.
Phew what a scorcher! Now 30°C in Trawsgoed, Ceredigion. Hottest day of the year so far in Wales!
The last time it reached 30°C in Wales was in September 2023 at Gogerddan near Aberystwyth and in Eglwyswen, Pembrokeshire.
The weather station near Capel Curig, Eryri dropped to -0.8°C last night with a touch of frost. Much milder and cloudy tonight thanks to a warm front with rain then drizzle. A low of 10°C rising to 12°C with tropical maritime air!
9.4mm of rain was recorded near Capel Curig during a thunderstorm yesterday. The most rain there since 22 April and the last rain for a while!
A blocking high north of the UK will bring plenty more dry weather this week and into next. It may turn more unsettled from 23rd May.
