🆘🆘 FUJI APPLE (ID 247571), 6 YO, MALE – IN MANHATTAN ACC - came into the shelter as an owner surrender on 2/14/2026, with the surrender reason stated as person circumstance- landlord won't allow. 🆘🆘 😿 😿 😿 😿 ➡️TBD 3/28/26 ➡️ 🆘🆘 1ST Chance on Emergency Placement List – VERY URGENT – 🆘🆘 😱🔥🔥😱 ➡️ 41 DAYS IN SHELTER – TOO LONG – TIME IS RUNNING OUT ➡️ FUJI APPLE IS ON THE EPL FOR BEHAVIORAL REASONS - He is not thriving in the care center and continues to display distance-increasing behavior when approached for interactions. He has not warmed up despite staff using treats to build a positive association. This designation often means that the cat will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 A volunteer writes: With a comprehensive and detailed list in paw, Fuji Apple came prepared to review each and every point with me. I love a cat who comes prepared! And to be perfectly honest, I love how he kind of assumed I wasn't. I listened to him and waited, which is what I think all Fuji Apple really wanted. When he realized I was ready to go along with his ideas, he temporarily set it aside to go with the flow Fuji Apple style. Leaning his head into my hand for pets and gently nuzzling, Fuji Apple's looking for a friend. He's actually been looking for one for a little while now. Brought to us with other cats, Fuji Apple was left here without much else information. He is, however, ready for a fresh start with you. Fuji Apple tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent and may need time to warm up to his new home. ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻 NEEDS OUT OF SHELTER ASAP – Please RT or pledge, if you can, to save this little one. @AdamsPaulGrimke @mehser12 💔😿🙏Thank you
