@JillBelch The climate fear mongers don’t want you to know this, but these things use water vapor to bypass any greenhouse effect and cool the atmosphere:

Dear Brothers, I hold in high regard my brothers and sisters of the paedo reformed and credo reformed convictions. I still argue with my sister who is 18 months younger than me. But don’t ever let anyone try and come between us! Blessings siblings in Christ.

@MorosKostas Alternatively, authorize retired and active duty military and law enforcement personnel to carry concealed as long as they identify themselves to the airport security and aircrews. Point defense; a few small revolvers would have stopped the 9/11 terrorists de*d in their tracks.

I think Trump should just unilaterally scrap the TSA to be honest. The White House should announce that given Congress has decided not to fund it, it can't continue to exist. Do a transition period where it gets phased out, and airlines take over airport security once again. The Dems are basically doing a shakedown right now. If Trump doesn't cave on enforcing our immigration laws (which he was elected to do), then they will continue to make Americans suffer at airports, confident that many will ignorantly blame Republicans. All in service of illegal immigrants over American citizens, because they need illegals to shore up the population of failing blue states. Don't play into that nonsense. Call their bluff. Just announce TSA is being scrapped. What are they going to do, argue that scrapping an agency would be unconstitutional when THEY ARE REFUSING TO FUND IT? lol

Which means the computer clock is running in a different dimension than our universe—an artificial dimension that, even if it existed, would be inaccessible to us. Which makes the calculated time value completely irrelevant. Much ado about nothing.

One of the most comical things I see is the “age of the universe is umpty billions of years” thing. A number that was calculated by a computer program that counts time independently of the extremely powerful gravitational effects and spatial expansion that are being modeled. 1/2

@JeremyWingert79 We also have demonstrated by the scientific method that decay rates can be changed. Geologists know this. And yes, some who wear the title of geologist make stuff up, or fail to question the popular dogma.

@JeremyWingert79 For starters, the decay rate of C14 has been measured only in the last century; to assume that the rate has not changed for the last 5,000 years is not verified, and it is not verifiable by any scientific means. And that’s just one assumption among many.

@JeremyWingert79 Moreover, counting tree rings is not a scientific experiment; it is reading a historical record.

@LanceAcree Do we determine the age of a tree by how many rings it has? Yes, we do. Then why can't we determine the age of rocks by geological data? To reject that would be to act like science is a pointless endeavor.

@JeremyWingert79 Those calculations about the ages of rocks are full of unverified and unverifiable assumptions about isotopes.

@BiblicalBeauty Don’t tell anyone but Evolution has gods in it. Several entities are surreptitiously ascribed divine powers. At least four by my count; you might be able to identify more.

Wow, wow, wow. Prominent atheist, Richard Dawkins, explaining how he came to believe that God didn't exist: "By far the most important, I suppose was understanding evolution. I think the evangelical Christians have really sort of got it right in a way in seeing evolution as the enemy. Whereas, the more, what shall we say, sophisticated theologians are quite happy to live with evolution. I think they're deluded. I think the evangelicals have got it right in that there really is a deep incompatibility between evolution and Christianity, and I think I realized that at the age of about 16."

@SgmNaval Most battleships that were sunk in combat were not sunk by the guns of other battleships, contrary to the popular Mahanian notion of why they were built. About 95% were sunk by mines and torpedoes.

@alisa_childers Absolutely. The watchmen are looking incessantly for what part of the city is currently under active attack. The section of the city that was attacked yesterday may still be attacked tomorrow, but what matters today is the current assault.

I've said from the beginning that the Apostle's Creed and the Nicene Creed are not enough. They are good and I affirm them. However, they were written in response to and/or under pressure by the heresies of their day, and spoke to specific doctrines that were under fire. For example, neither creed mentions anything about sexuality, yet Scripture is clear that the sexually immoral will not inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Cor. 6:9) So, can someone be considered an orthodox Christian yet celebrate fornication? I say no. The question of the essentials is much more complicated than simply asking, "Do you affirm the creeds?"
Holy Post Media@HolyPost_Media

The label “heretic” gets thrown around way too easily these days. If you profess the Nicene Creed & the Apostles’ Creed, you count as a legitimate Christian. Period. Christians will always disagree about important political & social issues and matters of doctrine. But at the end of the day, if someone affirms the essential truths outlined in the creeds, they are not heretics or apostates. 🎙️Holy Post 670 with @philvischer@skyejethani & @kaitlynschiess

If you’re fond of “law/gospel distinction” language, I invite you to survey the ten passages in the New Testament that include the term “lawlessness”.

@gratiasolus @PatAbendroth This partaking is clearly ethical, not metaphysical. We are becoming creatures that will not lie, ever—the idea of lying won’t make sense to us anymore than chewing leaves makes sense to a butterfly.
