for Russian localization on a solo project, Weblate is worth a look. Self-hostable, handles pluralization rules (Russian has 3 plural forms), and you can open it up to community translators so native speakers can fix your machine-translated strings. Saved me a headache on a client project with 4 locales.

Implemented the Clay Pit! Laborers can now gather clay resources to produce bricks and roofing materials. Still in the 'shaping' phase - expect more improvements soon #citybuilder #gamedev #sologamedev #indiegamedev #madewithunreal #rts

@Piyavkin I'm definitely aiming for a global release on Steam and would love to support the Russian language, at least for the UI. As a solo dev, I’m looking into localization options right now

@RocaPatriaARG It’s true—Stranded: Alien Dawn nails that "survival city-builder" vibe, especially with its emphasis on individual survivor needs and the physical construction of the base.
