@JaffaBranding Option B all the way! Adobe FTW! Positivity > toxicity and dream client base? Heck yeah!

You have two options as a designer. Option A: - Use Canva - Listen to toxic people - Complain about clients - Get client work from Fiverr Option B: - Use Adobe - Follow positive people - Only start hiring good clients - Build your dream client base on X Your choice.

Sometimes it takes more discipline to rest than to work.

@brijanp True, some "creative" people focus on trivial issues instead of making meaningful impact.

I have found few things as rewarding in life as making something, asking people how it works for them, and then iterating until it works as well as you know how to make it

I can’t seem to get a job, I can’t seem to get clients. Feeling of no self worth is a hard pill to swallow. Is it my portfolio or is it I’m just not good enough. Do I need to show more eye candy than purpose. 🤷‍♂️ Working in the field for over 18+ years, working for businesses that don’t let you experiment is tough, that and slapped with NDAs, it seems it’s impacted me for being a better designer. Because the design needs to fit its purpose and business needs. It’s hard being a designer.

High performers are almost always well networked internally. Not through relationship building (tho they do that, too), but through being at the center of important problems for the business.

The power-up from working in a top 1% talent environment is incalculable. I was deprogrammed and reprogrammed at age 33 at Stripe, and am eternally grateful. Artists like to live in artist colonies. If you aim to be the best, find the people who inspire and push you.

I have been using @obsdmd for over two years now. Prior to picking Obsidian, I used most of the other apps that were available. (Roam, Notion etc) These are the reasons I stick with Obsidian, personally. 👇

Nobody wants to hear this, but creating and landing a new design system into existing software is at least an 18 month project, in my experience.

#buildinpublic Yesterday, I had shortlisted some of the features that will be in MVP for my Idea Directory Project. It's my first time building the landing page. Suggest some best Landing Pages and principles I should take care of.
