Each living weapon seeks to permanently bond with a chosen human, a "wielder," granting them superhuman abilities. But they don't bond with just anyone... The Living Weapons and its sequel, The Living Weapons: Ascendancy, are available in paperback, hardback, and on Kindle! amazon.com/dp/B0FPDMC2PG

@seanonolennon During my time on this earth, I've learned that very few can wield power responsibly, meaning that, essentially, many with power are weak, misusing it and/or misusing others, while stronger and more moral minds use it for good, or at least more neutral purposes.

I'm still planning on releasing the Living Weapons interquel novella later this year. Perhaps the interquel novel as well, but that remains to be seen. Both take place between the first and second books, with the novella featuring a new MC, and the novel focusing on Aldwyn.

@AutisticRedHead All of us already write with AI, the artificial intelligence that is our brain. And that's all that should ever be considered acceptable or legitimate.

With the emergence and increasing prevalence of AI, I can't help but wonder if Helios (or something like it) is the ultimate goal for those truly pulling the strings. If Satan cannot be a god, perhaps fashioning an all-seeing imitation of one is the next best thing.

The fact that so much of the world's attention and conflict revolves around a tiny slice of land in the Middle East is the epitome of human ridiculousness.

I was just thinking about this topic again. If you're looking for more straight-laced heroes, try my #books. If you're looking for darker, grayer protagonists who push the limits of what's acceptable, also try my books. The Living Weapons series has it all. #readingcommunity

It's weird how so many are now having issues with morally gray characters, when we're all morally gray ourselves, to some extent. One's sinful nature clashing with their regenerated self is a lifelong battle, and it's alright if some characters and stories reflect that.

In my view, without God, hedonistic nihilism is the most rational worldview, because if there's no objective meaning to anything, nor any objective morality, with your very existence being both short and worthless, pursuing pleasure is the ultimate (and most logical) goal. (1/2)

@Tim0riginal @darwintojesus ...follow an objective-ish moral framework. Even if I were an atheist, I wouldn't label myself a humanist, and would instead be a nihilist, because I'd take no pleasure in deluding myself. If nothing matters, nothing matters, period. (2/2)

@Tim0riginal @darwintojesus If there's no objective meaning and morality, it isn't rational to live as though there is. Humanism's biggest problem is that it can't justify its own existence. There's no God, and the universe is cold and meaningless, but for some reason, we all matter and should...(1/2)

@darwintojesus He's a humanist, and humanists are essentially religious atheists who attempt to scrub Christianity of God and make that contradictory worldview their own, pretending that they somehow matter in a godless, purposeless universe, with no objective meaning or morality.
