@LandryLuc4 And by then the $BTE will be $8+. Terrible advice I must say. You appear to be a very conservative, careful investor who buys an oil stocks when “all the ducks have lined up”. You come up with great reasons to own $BTE and wait till all your expectations are met before you buy.

The sale of some of $BTE’s light oil production, which has been on the block, may be announced today along with their Q2 results. With their new CEO, major cash position, drilling great Clearwater/Duvernay wells, along with a more focused strategy, $BTE has become a strong buy.

Early US market for $BTE.TO $BTE 4,50$US + seems realistic Short term, and maybe never look behind with future waterflood project and more... DYDD it's your money !

Just a quick remainder of the Viking assets sale in Nov 2023 of $BTE.TO $BTE to $WCP.TO $WCP including the #WTI price avg. of 79,22$ USD during a 6 months total period before and after the deal. A simple math is 400M$ to sell 10,000 boe/d in 2026, without any others details of equipment, nbr. of locations etc. Hope it help to giving you an idea of what we are talking... GL Longs !

With Baytex Energy's Q2 earnings to be released on Thursday July 30, could we see news that they have sold their Viking assets? At these prices the asset will generate well over $100 million of free cash flow in 2026 off $100 million dollars in stay flat capex (~100 wells drilled and completed per year). Baytex topped the "Alberta Top Well List" this month with a 1,270 bbl/d Gilby Duvernay well... a single pad of these will make more oil than this entire asset and is easier to grow for them. But this Viking could be perfect for a well capitalized smaller company as a springboard to add scale if they see a decent inventory runway. Will be interesting to see what happens next week! $BTE.TO $BTE
