@MateyYanakiev @MichaelCarlino (1) Correct. (2) I agree. Nevertheless, that's not my point. My point is that the Bible alone leads to every kind of belief, doctrine and idea. Not just on fallen angels, but baptism, salvation and creation.

@LaneAndrew4 @MichaelCarlino (1) We don’t need dogmatic answers on everything. (2) The angelic reading is more probable from the plain meaning of the text in its historical context, and the objections I’ve seen raised do not hold up.

John Gill on Genesis 6:2: "Those 'sons of God' were not angels either good or bad, as many have thought, since they are incorporeal beings, and cannot be affected with fleshly lusts, or marry and be given in marriage, or generate and be generated; nor the sons of judges, magistrates, and great personages, nor they themselves, as the Targums of Onkelos and Jonathan, and so Jarchi and Aben Ezra; but this could be no crime in them, to look upon and take in marriage such persons, though they were the daughters of the meaner sort; and supposing they acted a criminal part in looking at them, and lusting after them, and committing fornication with them, and even in marrying irreligious persons; yet this could only be a partial, not an universal corruption, as is after affirmed, though such examples must indeed have great influence upon the populace; but rather this is to be understood of the posterity of Seth, who from the times of Enos, when then began to be called by the name of the Lord, ( Genesis 4:25 ) had the title of the sons of God, in distinction from the children of men; these claimed the privilege of divine adoption, and professed to be born of God, and partakers of his grace, and pretended to worship him according to his will, so far as revealed to them, and to fear and serve and glorify him."

@LaneAndrew4 @MelissaSebree @rugiter @needGod_net THANKS for repeating after me that HE USED her. So she’s the object, not the brain. He could’ve used ANY woman, but he chose her. - 2) no, misconception I’m Christian cause I saw Jesus in my despair. He literally saved me. And I received the Holy Spirit who’s my guide since then

@LaneAndrew4 @JLPaige1 @WadeMitchell17 @jb77neb @needGod_net I was saved because God so loved the world, that HE GAVE his only begotten SON That’s the ONLY reason I was saved Not thanks to the apostles, not Mary, not Adam, neither Abraham, nobody except God’s love and Jesus’s sacrifice You see the difference btw a believer in a cultist?

Glory in the Highest!🙏🏻🤍🕊️ We are saved because the one True G-d chose to make Himself lower than angels, chose to become G-d in flesh, chose to be the only begotten Son, chose to be the sacrificial Lamb, chose to be our savior. You keep putting Mary above G-d. No one is above G-d. That’s not obedience.

This is Catholicism in a nutshell guys I can’t believe that and it’s sad. They don’t know John3:16 For them, the reason we are saved is bc Mary gave birth to Jesus I understand why Muslims don’t want to become Christians. We have bad Advertisements : the Catholic Church
AndrewDwanye@LaneAndrew4

@SalomonsRing @JLPaige1 @WadeMitchell17 @jb77neb @needGod_net You were saved because Mary gave birth to your Savior. God could have done it another way, but He chose to do it through Mary. If I've spoken wrongly, correct me. All you keep doing is exorcisms and calling me the Devil. You have run out of rational arguments.

Fair enough. But keep in mind that Christianity is not Bible. Not really. The Bible, just like any book, can be misunderstood. Ideas in writing are limited. People speak about one subject and then another, and it can sound like they are contradicting themselves. The Truth about God and Christ are not found just in a magic Book called the Bible. Christianity is found in the Catholic Church Jesus set up, among the people who are His followers. Christianity is about the Apostles and their Church and what they teach and did----it's not about unscrambling or decoding the Bible.

This is why there are so many denominations of Christianity. It feels like every Christian I talk to has their own version of the Bible. What do you do with verses like Paul vs James on faith vs works? Pick and choose what works best for you? As an atheist, I just think both are wrong lol. However I think Paul directly contradicts Jesus on several accounts, namely on abolishing the law of moses. Christians side with Paul because the law of moses is... pretty immoral. We don't burn people alive anymore 😅

@LaneAndrew4 @JLPaige1 @WadeMitchell17 @jb77neb @needGod_net Andrew that’s the last time in your life you that. Ok? Don’t be a devil worshipper. Here is a verse that will make you think. Jesus: Don't think to yourselves, 'We have Abraham for our father,' for I tell you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones

How could she hear your prayer, and the one from a tribe in New Zealand, and a group in Algeria, all at the same time. **Easy. God gives her power to do so. How could Peter heal a crippled man? God gave him power. How could the apostles drive out demons? God gave them power. How could she know about your problems and mine. **God's power. Don't you believe people can do miracles thru God's help? Since you insisted PRAYERS is just talking, communicating. How can she? Don’t lie. **How could Paul be bitten by a snake and not die instantly? Gosh, Paul must be omnipotent!!

He didn’t need her. He used her. **No one said God needed her. I just pointed out that Mary was the one used, and without her, the story of the Incarnation we know, history as we know it, would not be as it is. Here's another fact---without the Catholic Church, you would not be a Christian today. Historically speaking, you're a Christian because of the existence and working of the CC.

@genxbaptist @BroSpencer Sorry, both can't be true. But you see, you will take that clear contradiction, make up some story to reconcile them, and say "There are no contradictions in the Bible!" And you will have proved my point, that contradictions are in the eye of the beholder.

@SalomonsRing @jb77neb @WadeMitchell17 @needGod_net Jesus never said from those under the Old Covenant, John is greatest. He said of those born of women, John is greatest. He never makes a NT or OT split. It seems you know the Bible less than an ordinary Catholic does. What a shame!

@mikeproverbs10 @ManassehRJones Yes, Jesus was not a lamb. He was disguised as a Lamb. It was not a metaphor. John saw Jesus as a Lamb. You're getting things backwards. Jesus is not a Lamb. Jesus is appearing as a Lamb. Jesus is not bread. He is appearing as Bread. Huge difference.

@LaneAndrew4 @ManassehRJones What are you even talking about “the lamb over there is Jesus” John was using a metaphor as Jesus as the Passover sacrifice, Jesus was never an actual lamb

He chose her because of her obedience to Him. We are saved because of Him, He made Himself flesh, He died on the cross, He rose Himself from the dead. Isaiah 42:8 I am the Lord, that is My name; My glory I will not give to another, nor my praise to carved images. Isaiah 48:11 For My own sake, for My own sake I will do it; For how should My name be profaned? And I will not give My glory to another. 1 Corinthians 8:5 Colossians 2:9-10 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the G-dhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is head of all principality and power.

For those who willful sin, even the Blood of Jesus can't save them. For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment…” (Hebrews 10:26–27) who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant…” (Hebrews 10:29)

@LaneAndrew4 @MateyYanakiev Every sin is grave for those who don't have the blood of Jesus speaking for them. Every sin is useless before the blood of Jesus except blasphemy against holy spirit.

When Paul says we're justified by faith, not works is that a contradiction to James who says we are justified by work, not faith alone? The problem is, it's a contradiction. The words are a contradiction. You can then go into spin mode and try and explain why it's not a contradiction----but then you could do that for any contradiction.

@LaneAndrew4 @BroSpencer Wrong. It's objectively true that there are no contradictions in the bible. Your example is subjective and has nothing to do with the original statment.
